Okay, so. This week is occupied with a few things, and though I applaud myself on taking care of most of the things I am obligated to finish under my aegis (like: grading and writing and being a wicked stepmother), today? I am choosing to focus on nothing but the loved one who is undergoing a painful medical procedure today, instead of all the other ramblings and Musings and etc. that I would normally be juggling like so many plates. As well I should be, I’m sure you’ll agree.
As such, similar to what I did when I was otherwise brain-foggedly occupied over Xmas, I am hereby using today not for a vocab word essay, but for a vote—you let me know which vocab word I should spin my Musings from next. I’m gonna list a handful of the ones I’ve got on deck (or is that in the hole? I don’t know my baseball) without definition or explanation. You look em up yourself, or just choose based on melopoeia. Up to you. I’ll keep this poll up for a few days only, so vote soon, and I’ll be writing from your choice for next week’s vocab word Friday. And thanks!
I absolutely love the idea of using random vocabulary words as writing prompts! This tickles my nerd bone (like a funny bone, but smarter) to no end! As a young wordsmith, I competed in several spelling bees, and even came close to going to Washington DC twice, finishing second place to the same girl both times, in two successive years. I adore learning interesting configurations of letters. I look forward to reading more. 😊
I am more than willing to review the platonic notion of anamnesis if you are looking for a dialogue
