I am adamant about sticking to one fight example from each franchise I choose—I picked the one unarmed from Matrix and won’t do more from those. I picked one Daredevil scene and won’t do more of those. I’m not sure if I’ll keep up with this rule as time goes by: we’ll see once I do a bunch of the classics and some newer ones and. I’m pretty sure I’ve got plenty of good violence to talk about without picking one fight from each of the John Wicks. But I also might be tempted. But anyway.

But I feel like the sheer insanity of the staircase in the 4th movie is just too much to pass up, and so here’s my take on one of the longer fight scenes you’ll ever see in cinema. The one from They Live is the only other one I can think of off the top of my head that reaches this level of unhinged.
