Day 29: “Detective”
*
It’s the not-knowing that
Catapults us into the
Most stress.
Oedipus had to know, all of it, and
Though he had to puncture out his own
Eyes once the knowledge
Pricked him to the quick,
As he bled,
Relaxation.
Wandering the realm
Formerly his,
At least now he knew.
He knew and therefore
He finally learned who
He was.
Pain, sure.
But pain is not the panicked
Despair of stress,
Of not knowing.
Now you know, and
Now you can
Be.
