Who first decided that 3 is sacred?

Who first found their 13th on a Friday

was always bad?

Jesus can’t have been the 1st.

Saturday (the day of Saturn, which in hindsight

maybe wasn’t the luckiest idea) as I

Waited an extra 20 minutes (is 20 a thing?)

For my driving tester to arrive and judge my

Skills of precision,

The office ladies remarked that the day was lucky: 11/11.

I quipped that it was too bad I hadn’t noticed at 11:11am,

And they cooed and ahhed and agreed.

Is 13 bad when it’s not on a Friday?

Is Monday always hard, no matter the number?

We turned the clocks back recently and

Though most daily devices do it

For us, I still feel

Punished by Time.
